Hmm.. not sure I put too much faith in that site. It seems like their reviews are just writeups from the tire brochures. My last car had a set of Yoko Avid V4s and let me tell you, they were absolutely fantastic tires... for summer. On dry roads, they\'d stick like glue.

The new Yokohama Avid H4s/V4s line of all-season high performance tires combines best-in-class handling, ride and all-weather confidence for the owners of premium cars in Canada, Yokohama Tire (Canada) Inc. has announced.

I\'m sorry, but that however is just BS. If there was so much as a drop of water or a flake of snow on the ground the tires would spin, slide, and slip. I found myself taking off in 2nd gear most of the time, and when I took a corner at about 5-10km on an icey night and the car kept going into the curb I decided I\'d had enough and got rid of them. Aside from making a hole in the tire, car was a-ok, so it got me off to finally get a new set :D

I\'d recommend checking out Eopinions (http://www.epinions.com/auto-Tires-All) if you want decent, unbiased reviews (of not just tires)

I hate to be a post whore, but I thought that its pretty important for everyone to read these reviews:

One (http://www.epinions.com/content_151408578180)
Two (http://www.epinions.com/content_31032315524)
[root] (http://www.epinions.com/auto-Tires-All-Goodyear_Eagle_RSA)

(I hope I\'m not wrong about that being the tire that comes with the 17\" wheels!)

Anyway, the long and the short is that it seems to be a serious liability to use these in winter!
