So Mazda Canada held June 13-14 Mazda CX-3 test-drives @ Woodbine Racetrack.

Who was there? I noticed a few other TM3 stickers in the parking lot.

I'm impressed with the CX-3 in that it's smaller than the 3, except taller, and still has all the crossover features, like AWD on the GT model, but I'm more in the market for the CX-5 if I were looking for a crossover, or size upgrade at all.

Does anyone in the forum already have either of the CXs? What can you say about em?

The wife & I just recently bought a 2016 CX-5 GT. We have nothing but positive things to say about it. Test drive one, you won't be disappointed.

I drove a cx-3 yesterday...wasn't actually that impressed with it. I drove a GS model FWD and it just didn't feel quite as mazda-y as it should. I've driven the cx-5 and it feels a lot better despite the size and weight. I don't know, the cx-3 just wasn't very confidence inspiring. Also unless it was in sport mode the throttle response was non-existent; driving up hills you add a bit of throttle like normal and it doesn't keep accelerating, you actually have to put your foot down and let it kick down a couple gears.

The only reason I could see getting a cx-3 over a mz3 would be for AWD, that's it...otherwise it's smaller, more expensive and doesn't drive as well.

Awesome choice. The new CX-5 is the benchmark that all CUVs should be modelled after.
