Congrats Indusbreed on the purchase. I am sure you\'ll love her.

Next step is to consider things like Winter Tires, Rust proofing, hood protection (Mazda OEM deflector or Clear Bra).

Post pics of her when you take delivery.

I apologize for the multiple post Guys....

They try to sell me the extended waranty and rust proofing but i guess i will look out side for that rather then going with the dealer.

Will be getting it in approx. 2 months.

I was thinking about getting the extended warranty too, but since the dealer allowed me to purchase it within a year of picking up the car I didn\'t purchase it on the spot. Since then I\'ve decided not to buy it, paying an extra $1400-ish for an extra 2 years just didn\'t make sense in my books.

Actually my dealer gave me 3 years window or 60,000 Kms to change my mind.

I picked up a 4th year of extended coverage for $350, it didn\'t seem too expensive so I went for it. If I don\'t use it I\'ll get burned, if I have to use it, it\'ll more than likely pay for itself in one repair.

It\'s a gamble, but one I was willing to take...

Congrats on the car, you\'ll love it as much as we do, I\'m positive. :D

I coughed up the extra $1199 for the 6 year plan.. its nice knowing that most of the stuff is covered and I wont have to shell out much more than routine maintenance. There is a bit of a caveat though-- it doesn\'t cover things that still cost a fair bit (like CV joint boots) :sarc .

I decided to buy it with the car rather than later. For one thing the price could go up for next year or later (something I don\'t doubt because of the increased interest rates and such), and if I didn\'t get it now, I may forget :p At least this way its all done and for 6 years I\'m covered. To each their own though..

Personnally speaking, i would have got a sports package with 16\' rims for that money for my GS.
