Doing some research the other day for a good day trip to take and I stumbled across the roads of the Forks of the Credit Provinical park and was curious if anyone has taken the drive? Planning on doing it this weekend. For those of you who have never heard of it here are some pics...Looks like a lot of fun to drive

And there are tons of waterfalls like this in the park

If you enjoyed yourself there you would love Tail of the Dragon! Its roughly 318 turns in a row just like that one.

I'm pretty sure this is where we by for the tri city cruise last weekend, really fun road to drive I think we averaged 60-70kms on the way down, but got stuck behind someone slow on the way up averaging around 10-15kms Mitchell3 can confirm if I'm right about location

I have, it used to be better, there are speedbumps at the entrance and exit now and I often get stuck behind slow traffic.

Hmph.

It's such an awesome road. It's basically all the way north up erin mills parkway. I'm actually taking a girl out for a drive there tomorrow morning. It's funny too because there's a mazda ad out right now talking about mazda drivers and the forks of the credit road, and if you go you'll see tons of mx-5s and 3s

not Mitchell, but yes that's where we were at the end. Was a good time, but that Jag on the way back up totally ruined it

Yup

The nice part though is its short and you can easily turn around and do it again if someones blocking you the first time. At least we had one good go through it.

The Forks is about 30 min from me, so usually I'll take quick 2 hour drives out there and blast around. Be careful with the speedbumps and the slow traffic you get stuck behind. Also on some corners you can see visible sand that will make you're car just slide, other then that it's a fantastic stretch of road

Forks has already been "destroyed" by cops, speed bumps, and tons of traffic. It's great at first, but quickly gets old. Anyone going out there should be SUPER careful about cyclists and cops... they are everywhere now.

Yeah forks is great the first couple times but especially on nice weekends it's always full & has cops everywhere.

If you want a little entertainment if you're heading north on hurontario the next right after forks is escarpment side road & if you chill at the bottom with your car in neutral it will pull your car up he road with you doing nothing :) it's fun to see your friends reactions of the car moving up the will with you doing nothing lol

Forks is okay, scenic, but not the best driving road. There's a bunch within 10-15 mins that are better with less traffic.

This reminds me so much of my high school days lol...we would race up Kennedy Rd (before they built all the damn houses) then ditch our afternoon classes to drive the Forks and sneak into Belfountain. This was all before a tragedy hit on that hair pin turn...

Still love the area and I try to get out there whenever possible. It sure has changed over the years but you still can't beat the beauty of it.

soccerboy1491 lol I swear every btown kid used to go to the magnetic hill and try to trip out one of their unknowing friends...good times!!

I pass by The Forks on my commute. I frequently take the long way home. :)
