Mine's been a paperweight since Christmas. Glad you found a good use for that brick.
Of note, my car used 75 litres of Ultra 94 that day....

i used about 40L and that got me to rack up about 200km on the track
Need a lap timing device...
Only way to know if you're actually improving and if different approaches to corners actually are faster

i was thinking of the same thing while watching some of the video yesterday. Although while not an exact measurement, I was picking a reference cone in the video and using it as a start point for a lap and on my last run, most of the laps were about the same give or take a second or two. a couple that ended up longer by a second or so i noticed a couple turns where i had gone wider than normal.
I should check out torque, pretty sure i can do it there

wanted to get a perspective from behind the car so took this video on the last session of the day. Don't know why it uploaded in 360p instead of 720p but I will deal with that later
It's 25 mins of lapping with the first lap being a warm up lap

Try Harry's lap timer...has most ontario tracks on it and pretty accurate

Thanks for the heads up, i was hoping to get confirmation on that before dropping $20 on an app.. I installed Track Attack which had hundreds of tracks but they only had the Big track and not DDT, also missed Cayuga, but did have Shannonville and Calabogie

posted this elsewhere for loki and also pasting it here:
Harry's Lap Timer Grand Prix edition (allows you to have multi-cam mode with your smartphone camera and a GoPro or Sony ActionCam) ... http://www.gps-laptimer.de/products
and any of the GPS receivers listed here
http://www.gps-laptimer.de/compatibility/android
The Garmin GLO being the cheapest 5 star rated one that is compatible with both Android and iOS
Can also do OBD2 integration with an OBDLink LX/MX (https://www.scantool.net/scan-tools/smart-phone/) or a PLX Kiwi 2
Harry's needs something greater than an S3 if you're on Android. The GoPro/ActionCam cam syncing within Harry's is probably its best feature if you already have a GoPro. That way you can overlay the data right on the phone.

Maybe next year I can graduate from autocross to lapping. My primary issue is time not money now :(
