Dates: 17th - 19th September, 2015
Location: Woodbine Race Track, 555 Rexdale Blvd.

Note: event is requires unique PIN for now, usually opens for public sign-up later. ;)

Ditto. Called Mazda Canada to see if there's a waiting list, no dice. I may just show up to see what it's like. :)
For those who have been to previous test drive events like this, do you need to be on a list to get in, or just on the list to get a drive?

we went to the one in ottawa last week. was fun.

we didnt sign up for it but we just showed up. there wasn't that many ppl so they let us in.

note to anyone who goes for the miatas. there are 4 miatas. 2 2016 autos, 1 2016 standard and a 2015 standard. the 2016 is a huge difference from the 2015.

also, if you want to have fun, make sure you let the person ahead of you go far ahead if they drive slow. i caught up to the person in front of me twice in the small course :(

The course is very tight. On either the auto or stick you won't come out of 2nd gear.

Still fun though. The new ND is a fantastic car!

Generally, they want to keep your speed lower during these test drives for everyone's safety.

Even during autox I do on weekends, I would probably redline 2nd for a few seconds only.

Cheese and crackers, chips, cookies, pop/juice/water. Don't go for the food, go for the opportunity to whip MX-5's around a course. :)

why are you worried about the food? you get to drive a miata around a fun little track a few times like Scottobot said

Quick tip: either go to the miata group and line up for manual ones right away, or test drive the SUVs lineup and wait till lineup dies off. Everyone just waste time lining up for the manual miata.

Pretty good event.... like the mx-5 but felt so awkward in it. Love the handling of the bigger vehicles. When i left saw a huge crowd, so I'm glad I went when I did.

It take a bit of time to adjust to the viewing angles in the mx5. I really love the car.

Yeah ... I wish the course was a bit bigger, the car handles really really well, didn't really get to push it though
