weak brakes

It seems like my brakes have gotten weaker over the past month or so. I\'m not sure if this is due to the cold, wear, or just that I\'ve gotten used to the brakes. No squeal or anything, but lots of brake dust. Any ideas?

My brakes perform like they did on Day 1...I think you have just gotten used to the brakes.... drive a different car... then you\'ll notice how good your brakes are...

I thought my brakes were going, but then I drove my Dad\'s outback and had troubles stopping cuz I was used to how well our car stops :p

Maybe you are thinking too hard. My last car had ABS, and when I went to test it, couldn’t make it click, but if someone cut in front of me, making me slam the brakes, the ABS worked fine. So perhaps you aren’t pressing hard enough, or not going fast enough, but don’t crash okay?

I agree it\'s definately being used to the feel of the car. I just drove my mothers corolla, and I was so happy to be back in my mazda after. Break response is much better ont he mazda.
