Although most of those 298, we haven\'t really heard a peep from, so we don\'t know how many of them are female.

You live near Hwy 7 and Warden, right? I\'m always around that area with my Blue hatch... if it\'s the building I\'m thinking of. You\'re sometimes parked on the side of that road too, right?

majic, well.. it\'s \"somewhat\" hard to install the door sills, everything else is pretty straight forward until tapping into the map lights and the positive terminal at driver\'s side electric bundle, i\'m not exactly an electric dude, so it took me some time, but following the How-To\'s is not too bad ..

As for the price, lucky enough i didn\'t get any duties / chares at all ? (hopefully i won\'t see anything later) I really forgot the total, but i used buy-it-now and standard stuffs, i guess i can verify in my visa bill later

I\'ll keep in mind on where to post to, still a newbie here, thanks

Oh we have Spy vs Spy now hahaha j/k Yep if the blue hatch is on that small street, it\'ll be parked at the far east end of the street... my gf\'s home is one of those units. Yep I will be paying a freelancer to come install my HID kit as well. I\'m not an electrical person either... don\'t want to destroy the expensive stuff by one touch.

Now that you say there are two white hatches total, I think so too... you often go to FMP?? It\'s full of hatches now... everytime I go I see at least one blue, one white, and one gray...

Tell us more about the procedure and what he had to cut up in terms of wires.

He goes by the nickname \"Wejidas\". He got is kit locally and had it installed in the spring. It\'s a white hatch with bronze/gold anodized Koenig rims. He came to one of the TM3 meets in the summer.

Spy Update; supposedly he\'s gotten an aftermarket body kit on his car now after damaging his stock bumper by hitting (accidentally) a raccoon... :)

Not 100% tho, I believe he is in Hong Kong right now... did a search in Mazda3Forums... hehe (RedRaptor, that\'s why he hasn\'t replied your inquiry about his HID\'s bouncing around)

Hi RedRaptor (boy, games\'s on tonite, houston is gonna teach raps a lesson though)

Sam did mine way back as in june? i really forgot. Overall I\'m VERY happy with the results it\'s not completely no issues though, my passenger side HID has about 1/50 chance that it wouldn\'t light up, i knew it has to do with the wiring because he had to extend the wires somehow and i\'m pretty sure it\'s just a connector issue and it\'s definitely fixable. It doesn\'t bother me crazy cause as soon as i realize this, i can turn the lights switch off and on again and 10/10 times it\'ll go on again? Am i confusing you guys?

in terms of leveling, although i can move the bulb around and the beams will go up and down, so it\'s not sitting in PERFECTLY so to speak, but then it really didn\'t matter either since it seems to sit in there happily, i never have any issues with it.. as in i never get head on car high beam me saying i\'m too bright or something, i don\'t know, may be you \"spys\" out there know better? :p

As for the procedure, i wish i can help you out on that, but i\'m really not up to level in terms of the work that he did.. i think i maxed out on my knowledge on the door sills.. all i saw was he wired couple things thru the firewall

Sam is a very nice guy, he promised that i can just give him a call anytime if i have any issues.

hope this helps

wtom,

I will give you a call if I come by, no worries. Does Sam know he is getting a crowd tonight? haha. Should you maybe call him and ask him if its alright? He\'s going to be expecting a routine install when he suddenly sees a bunch of Mazda3s parked in your driveway. Maybe he\'ll be mistaken which car he needs to install the HIDs on and one lucky Winning Blue will get HIDs compliments of wtom. :p

3swhite,

When you checked out your bulbs in your housing, what did Sam use to hold the bulbs in place? A lot of the owners with aftermarket HID kits are suggesting to use rubber gromments to keep the HID bulb TIGHT and SNUG in the socket.

Could you tell us what Sam uses? Or even take a picture? Perphaps if you want your bulbs to be in more tight, you can use the rubber grommets method by getting some at HomeDepot and securing the HID bulb.

Wow...thats a great idea. Or you can perform the installation and you can be the next mobile door sills installer?;)

Good to have you onboard here and giving us feedback about the whole HID installation by Sam. A lot of us are first car owners and a little vary of having electrical mods done. After hearing your review and seeing the last half of the installation at wtom\'s house last night, I\'m convinced that I\'m getting my HIDs done by Sam.

wtom: Did Sam have to extend your wires also as 3swhite mentioned? I wasn\'t there yet for that part of the installation.
