They're based out of Richmond Hill. Depending on where you live you could go directly to them to pick up. Otherwise, ordering through their site to a Canadian address should be doable as well.

I found them on Amazon and noticed it was a Canadian company so went straight to their site. It's easier and more accurate when picking part numbers and shipped in two days.

They have a search by vehicle feature on the website. Best bet. Then you have a few choices as far as features in the rotors. Slotted/ drilled etc.

You can get front and rear HP pads and cross drilled slotted and zinc coated rotors from MaxBrakes for cheaper then that

I knew dealer cost is a bit expensive.

I am just looking for OE replacement for daily driving. Higher quality than OE and cheap would be ideal.

You know that if you get the TM3 affiliate discount it's 20% off OEM parts? And you'd never do a brake job at the dealer. They charge more for labour on one end vs my own mechanic for both ends brake job.

Personally, I think the factory parts are about as good as you'd get for street use. Higher quality and cheap usually don't go together.

Lots of people are happy with almost anything because well unless the replacement parts are so bad they aren't capable of locking up and triggering ABS, no one will noticed any shorter stopping distances. The caveat being cold and wet performance (search about hawk pads and cold temps)

Longevity is where I think getting OEM pays off. Simply put, unless you are going to send a sample to a lab to test you wouldn't know what a aftermarket rotor and pad is made of and what it means in terms of durability.

I just had my brakes replaced on all 4 corners with OEM parts and the way I see it is that they lasted 5 years and 80k without a single issue and still stops the car as well as they did new. So it's been good value, and really great long term performance and durability. In other cars I have experienced warping in the 2nd year of ownership and decreasing brake feel/performance due to wear.

Just bought and installed front rotors and ceramic pads from Maxbrakes. I got the OEM but forgot to ask about the zinc coating. They look like they are decent quality but time will tell. Will change the rears with maxbrakes if the fronts hold up well in a year or so.

5.75 years on my factory brakes and still about 50% in the rears and 35-40% in the front at 120k! Yeah..excellent value that's for sure! Will likely be changing out the fronts to OEM later in the spring - rears still have plenty life left. :)

Shite that's pretty good, my OEMs lasted 50k first set, 70k second. My present no-names have lasted me 160k and I can still make the winter on them. Just ordered the MaxBrakes Elite xDS in anticipation @ $200 CDN complete kit.

Dealer quoted me $475 just to replace the front brake pads and rotors. Didn't know about maxbrakes.com, but some suggested some other places and somehow I ended up at nextmod in Markham and ordered from there. They quoted me on OEM's a like for:
Front + Rear Pads = $120 cash price Front + Rear Rotors = $220 cash price ($340 total). Got them installed by Jimmy a couple of weeks ago and they work great so far.

Don't have the powerstop but I know some guys have this kit and haven't heard any complaints from them. The price is good so I think it is worth getting.

thought Id reopened this thread! my car is at 117k and I just replaced my break pads but did not replaced my rotors due to everyone telling me that my rotors are still in good shape;

Any one here can clarify that for me and if What should I also change my rotors when changing my pads.

Rule of thumb is to always change both together.

If your rotors are in good shape, best thing to do is get them resurfaced. It's not absolutely mandatory but you'll get better braking performance (which is important).
Don't just throw them away if they're still good... save the planet ;)

Thanks for the advice. I ended up reusing my rotors and juat replaving my brake pads now i have new rotors lying around the garage

Yes, save those rotors for the future.
I replaced only my front brake pads today for my outlander. It wasn't necessary to replace the rotors at all. Wanted to get them done by Jimmy but the fronts had only had a few weeks of life left so I went with another shop since he's injured.
