Just wanted to know if any one has put 0 down on a purchase finance and what the montly payment has been. For M3 sedan GT/gfx/manual $533 for 60 months.

or if you don\'t mind, how much your DP was and what your monthly is.

never go by mthly payments.. negotiate the final price (with tax and PDI and rebates) then you\'ll get somehwere in the 26K range (depending if u wanted leathers add 800)

for a $26000 purchase

$0 DOWN
Term Rate Payment
36 5.90% $789.82
48 5.90% $609.44
60 5.90% $501.46

$2,500 DOWN
Term Rate Payment
36 5.90% $713.87
48 5.90% $550.84
60 5.90% $453.24

$5,000 DOWN
Term Rate Payment
36 5.90% $637.93
48 5.90% $492.24
60 5.90% $405.03

HTH

EDIT: with $5000 down.. (on a 60 mth finance) every $2.22 less per month means $100 savings off your total price (if you wanna try them that way - but it\'s easier to haggle for the OTR price)

Majic laid it out the best:
That\'s the calculations I made and with 4,000 down my payments came under $440/mth on 60-month plan.

Here\'s my situation.

36 month Lease w/option to purchase early.
Max allowable D/P ($6K I believe).
Increased refundable Security Deposit by 4x to reduce the lease rate by 1%.
Payment is $239/mth with a $10K residual.

Then, I opened a GIC account to save monthly for the residual payment. Total payout monthly is about $475, I earn interest on part of it, and I avoid paying about $1K in interest over the term.

cheers all.
