I have been calling around to get a few prices on tires (None beat the prices of Tires23). I called up one place called Wheel & Tire Zone Inc 416-288-1577 and I spoke to a guy named Andrew I believe. I told him which size tire I was looking for and he gave me a few peices. I then asked about steelies to fit an 04 Mazda 3 GT Sport and he said that I could go with a 15 inch tire and that he had had done one on the weekend. I said are you sure and he said positive. Let me know what you guys think about this and if it is even possible.

15\" rims won\'t fit on the GT, the larger diameter brake rotors and the brake caliper will interfere with the rim. The smallest you can go is 16\".
Andrew Cantor, he\'s the owner of Wheel & Tire Zone, good guy, I used to buy tires from him when he was still the (son of the) owner of TireMag.

I am aware that only 16\" fit on our cars but I was kind of thrown off by what he said. I guess he was mistaken, though he did seem very confident.

is it possible to have steelies big enough on the inside that they can actually clear the rotors??

The GT\'s brakes are larger than the base model one\'s. So 15\" steelies won\'t clear the brakes.
