Don't judge a book by its cover.

It's speeds are in competition with a lot of the fast luxury production vehicles.

Cheaper than alot of high end luxury cars.

Just wait till latest news of the car. Don't count it out yet.

After all those pre orders realistically with Tesla's history the first order filled in super late 2018 and the last pre order 2021. They probably only planned to build 40000 per year. I'm not sure of the progress of the new battery factory required to get the cost so low. With all that negative said it is a very exciting machine! IMO I think the first mainstream big electric car which could change the world forever.

Anyone else think it has a passing resemblance to the Mazda3 sedan? I see some elements of the Gen1 and Gen3 in there, but with a more futuristic touch.

I think that's why I got very interested in it it reminds me of my current car just some added flare to it and an EV.

Did you know why it's called the model 3? They couldn't call it Model E.

They have a model S, an X. They didn't want to call it the SEX line lol

Elon suggested it be E as a joke SO it would be SEX, and then it stuck. Ford threatened to sue over "model E". Probably because of their E series Vans, so it became 3
