5sp Transmission oil?

Silly question perhaps, but I\'d have to assume that the manual transmission has oil in it, or bad things would probably happen... so how do you go about checking it? Just wondering if its something I should check on the PDI :p

How to check it: remove the fill plug and stick your finger in.
