Hey All,

New to Toronto and this forum. I recently blew a single rear shock (and my rim/tire) from a utility cut on Yonge... shock fluid all over my driveway, and a nice clunking noise from the rear end.

To maintain stability, do I need to replace all shocks, just the pair in the rear, or can I get away with a single shock replacement? Is it a good idea to replace the springs at this time also?

Was thinking of going with a second hand set of Koni Yellows / Oranges.

Thanks!

Replacing one is OK. But the pair would be better if they are original.

ill replace both if you have the extra cash but you dont really have to change the other one.

Just picked up a set of Koni Yellows from another member here. Will be doing them all around (just need to find a set of lowering springs now). Thanks!

One of my rear shocks just blew thanks to our fine roads. Did some research and read alot of negative input on Koni shocks. Decided to go with Monroe OE Spectrum, as Mazda oem were just too expensive and I'm not too confident in them anymore...So at $100 on sale for both OE Specs and the fact they have great reviews, I figured I'd give them a shot. Plus they come with a lifetime warranty.

Getting them put on today hopefully, I'll update on how well they work out.
