Hey there!

I've had my Mazda3 GT for about 2 weeks now and it has been great so far. I would upload pictures, but I am sure you've all seen a stock 2015 so yeah...but here is an imgur album if you wanna see it https://imgur.com/a/UyR0T

I've been on and off the fence on putting some tint on the windows and sunroof, I've read of a few good places to get the work done. I also would like to get a dashcam (front and rear)...

One thing I would like to know is a good place to get some rims and snow tires. Ideally I would like to put the snows on my stock rims (18") and then get an aftermarket pair to fit my stock tires...or even get a pair of aftermarket tires possibly and then keep the stock tires as a second pair...

If anybody knows a good place to shop rims, or even a good website that ships to Canada let me know! I frequently am in the GTA so it would be NBD for me to head down there for a day to get the tires installed and balanced...

Anyways I'm new to the forum and new to modding (this is my first car) so any advice is much appreciated!

Sunroof is not needed, just tint 4 doors and rear. $350 for a professional job and high quality tint. For wheels check out Tires23 or simplytire

I am. Not too many of us out here in Kingston. But we have weekly meets (Sunday) out near Tint World on Gardiners Rd. Not just a Mazda meet mind you, it's anyone and everyone. Also random nights at the Tim Hortons on Princess (by Costco) You will usually find a ton of old and and rides.

Locally we have a couple tints shops, ie Tint World. I can't say if they are any good as I got my windows done @ Audio Heaven (club sponsor). For rims I would really go to Toronto and deal with our sponsors, but you can buy rims at Fieldings (http://www.fieldingstireauto.ca/wheels.aspx) and Auto Add-ons (http://www.autoadd-ons.com/), and I would suggest Costco for winters tires. I know some people hate Costco's tire shop but the Kingston Location is pretty good.

Much appreciated.

I will browse the sponsor pages and see if I can find something I like as far as rims go. Same for tinting. I am assuming there are no sponsors out in our end...? I have been browsing Costco.ca but I will go in store as well. I know they usually have a good sale during the summer so I have been browsing on and off.

And thank you for the welcome!

Hey dude I just wanted to reach out and say thanks for your recommendations.

I was able to get an order for some winter tires and a decent set of rims for a really great price from Tires23. Moreover it was my dad who lives down in the GTA that actually went and dealt with the shop and he expressed how pleased he was with the service he received there.

Anyways thanks again for the warm welcome and for your advice.

For any one who might be interested I settled on a set of Bridgestone Blizzak WS-80 Tires.

My original goal was to get them mounted on something like Enkei BR7s but I had a tough time getting a hold of a pair so the guys at 23 recommended going with a very similar wheel from Fast (https://imgur.com/a/EcPKz). I can't wait till they come in and I'll try and get a picture posted when they are mounted.
