I don\'t know if it discussed before cause I didn\'t find any by search.
when I clear my stuff from the car, I found a hole (tray??) under the driver seat http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid147/pa629ccbe5d1329ee68e30182dd6b3a7d/f62fa338.jpg
don\'t know what is it? Then I found a pin from this hole, I think it is the pin for carpet?

any idea?? thanks

Edited links for photos
The pin looks like a retainer for the carpet, but I can see the first picture all that well.

could be, but when I found the pin, there is a \"wall\" just about 3 inches back.
bluntman, that\'s the best pic I can take.:p
I think this is what you were trying to take pics of?
Nothing else beneath the front seats except this, which is the vents for rear passenger area.

I adjusted the levels of the picture.. its attatched.
I think thats an air duct. Turn on the air to max, set it to the footwells and stick your hand infront of it to see :)
Otherwise is it maybe an unused wire harness?

Ah Warren, you beat me to it by a minute ;)
On another note, anyone else find this bar at the front sort of annoying? Its not really comfy to put your legs at 90 degrees with the car off while waiting for someone, or with the handbrake up at a redlight.
I don\'t get it? When I\'m sitting in the front, I never put my legs at 90 degrees... almost always I just stretch out as far as the foot well allows me to... :)
Sitting in the back is a different story. :(

First, sitting in the back? I don\'t think thats gonna happen so long as I own the car.. unless of course it happens to be parked.. but thats a different story :p
When I\'m driving I\'m often stretched out, but at long traffic lights I often just put it in neutral, pull up the handbrake and put my legs at 90 degrees... *shrug*

I put my leg up at 90-degree sometimes but never have a problem.
I got lots of room at the back too.

My concern is that in winter the bar is going to get covered in salt & slush. I\'m a little dubious about how well the carpet is going to hold up
