Draxas Exhaust Systems Audio Clips

Hey all, I met up with Wejidas today to compare our Draxas exhaust systems. His being the off-road pipe option and mine with the high-flow cat. He personally feels his is way too loud for his tastes so he\'s going to replace the straight pipe with the stock cat.

The audio clips aren\'t too helpful in distinguishing the differences between the two systems but his is more MEAN and NASTY sounding (as Wejidas puts it). My words were \"coarse\" ... we both agreed the in-cabin sound is a few decibels more on his compared to mine.

I plan to get the HKS muffler in spring, possibly with custom catback piping.

The boxer engine of the WRX sounds distinctly different from the other cars there.

You mean Boxster? Yes... their engines are quite distinct indeed... sounds like one mean cat purring ... and the BOV is when the cat attacks. :p

are you both going to be at meet 7? if so, I know I\'ll be paying close attention to the sound of your cars... I want a bit more power, but I don\'t want to be wearing earplugs when I drive on the highway!!
