hope all you great members can help me figure out wtf this noise is so i can fix it, ill do my best to describe the noise

may have to go out and make a video of it if it help figure out what it is!
2008 mz3 134,000

coming from the right drivers side i have a creaking noise sounds like a old rusty bed that needs some lube.
this noise happens during acceleration or going over bumps... does not happen when turning or stopping

if i get out of the car and push hard on the fender the car does not make this sound the strut seems to respond normally.
if i have someone in the car to listen for the creaking it can not be heard its loud enough that when the window is down you can hear it!

i have replaced the swaybar bushing about 6 months ago so im going to rule that out just for now (have to inspect them)
as well as the swaybar end links just over a year ago (will inspect as well )

also if you listen closely to the noise going over a bump at slow speed you can hear a noise like when a nitrous system is purged
im leaning towards the front strut being shot, the odd time when i pull into my driveway you can hear a clunk, it doesn't happen all the time though and does not happen when going over bumps or hitting pot holes ( i live in london the entire road is one big pot hole)

i know i need to get the wheels off and take some time to do an inspection of the front but can anyone give suggestions as to what this could be

if in fact the strut has died i was looking at this set and would like opinions

thank you for your help

Edit: is it possible that the bushing on the control arm needs lube? or for that matter all the bushing...

i found the exact sound look here

This noise could be coming from the bump stops tucked up on the front struts. Get some general purpose wheel bearing lube or spray silicone lube and spray the shock absorber rods as high up as you can (do it jacked up).

I wouldn't use normal grease on rubber. I've used brake caliper lube that is pure silicone and safe to use on rubber.
