Has anyone ever heard this noise while driving slow (10-20kms) ? It just started a week ago and it's such a strange noise coming from the rear passenger side . Car is an 08' Speed 3

Sounds like a bearing is gone. You get no noise or (whining) at high speed?

I can't even tell because the tires I have on are loud and create the same noise as a bad bearing , I visually inspected my brakes and the pad and rotor seem fine , I did have the car in the air for a minute and saw that it was harder to rotate the right rear , compared to the other side by hand

Well it could also be a seized caliper, but I would guess a bearing. Better safe then sorry, have it checked out asap.

Sounded like sheet metal rattle to me....
Like its rattling up against a brace or support.

Haha now that I listened to it again you may be right, there is a rattle there. Hard to tell if that low grinding is tire noise or not though.
OP maybe check shit in your back like spare, jack etc.

I checked the jack to see if it was loose or spare tire , all in place ... The weird thing is that it comes and goes , it didn't happen today but it will probably happen tomorrow

Well I'd still suggest getting your bearing checked anyway, along with the caliper. If the bearing is bad it could be causing vibration in a panel, ..a rattle.

Probably bearing or uneven tire wear. Bearing tends to get louder as you go fast tho. try swerving it left or right. If it gets louder or become quiet then probably the bearings. Sometimes tires make flapping sounds when they have uneven tire wear or it has bumps.

I checked for play , I tried swerving left or right and nothing ...

are there no vibrations when ur driving specially on highways? try to rotate ur tires if the noise changes where its coming from then it might be ur tires.

That's a good idea lol , I do get some vibrations at around 100-115 i was gonna balance my wheels when I had time but I should do that

if its not a bearing, caliper, tire issue, take a look at the exhaust heat shield. I had a similar sound and the heat shield was vibrating
