well i\'ve waited for a while already.. might as well cancel with avante and pick this puppy up in 2006.. :D

intersting that they dumbed down the 2.3L MPS6 engine down.. u know what this means.. LOTSA ROOM FOR MODS AND POWER :D

they should have kept it a 2.0L to compete in the rally world .. oh well

So far Mazda hasn\'t released any news on the MSP3. So I guess we\'ll just wait and see.

are you just trying to keep me from cancelling my purchase from avante? ;) :p heh..

i just thoght of something.. if/when MSP3 is out.. this will mean a drop-in turbo that won\'t void the warranty no?

If it gets the piano gloss black interior pieces like in the MX Sportif, I\'ll be all over it...the interior pieces, not the car.

no drop-in turbo for the 2.3L engine we have as the one in the MPS6 is a direct-injected ALL mazda engine (i.e. it shares zero architecture with the duratec 2.3L engine).

o ic.. i didn\'t know that mazda \'re-invented\' the wheel with this engine.. hmmm i guess back to aftermarket turbos eh?

MPS6 = mazdaspeed mazda6
what does MPS stand for then? = mazda protege speed? why MPS?

MPS ...from the article, i\'m guessing Mazda Performance Series :)

japanese manufacturers in the JDM market uses direct-injection gas engines .... better fuel consumption and higher compression ratios ...more power from smaller displacement ;)

Interesting... it has a GS style grille...

I thought they would use the Mazdaspeed mesh grille.

it\'s going to share its looks with the mx sportif version.. it won\'t necessairly look identical but we don\'t know to what extent till it\'s on the road..

it looks nothing like the Mazdaspeed Axela A-Spec found on the mazda.co.jp site....

Which I don\'t like, cuz the one on the jp site looks amazing.

but FWIK.. JDM.. A-spec.. Ausie (mx) and others have different stylings.. just like JDM hondas and american ones.. so just wati till more info comes out about the styling cues..

FYI, the photo in the article that I linked to is of the MX Sportif concept car, not the Mazdaspeed 3.

lol i find it weird how the mazdaspeed 6 and 3 are NA. would of thought they would have turbos. then again better to have a nice base NA engine and slap on a turbo later haha
