installed K and n Sri and Magnaflow catback on my 11 mazda 3 2.0 from Nxtmod sauga. After the install i can hear the difference between stock and my new exhaust. but after Ive installed my K and N sri. It still sounds like im still on stock intake , doesnt make much of a difference on sound from engine but when I rev or gas it i can hear the exhaust much deeper after I had the new intake. Do I need to reset ECU for that? or would it automatically read the new intake by itself? any advice? Let me know, Thanks!

my apologies, i am posting this thread from my phone. I just want to make it clear so, I had the magnaflow installed 3 weeks ago and I can hear the difference between the stock and new exhaust ,big difference on sound wise whenver I rev. 1 week ago I had the k and n sri installed but the sound from engine seems like its still on a stock intake but whenever I rev/Gas it I can hear the exhaust on a much deeper tone. My only concern is when on idle I dont really hear the exhausts sound nor the engines sound and its so quiet unless its a "COLD START" where you can really hear the exhaust soo loud. so i was thinking that the new intake probably didnt kick in yet. Do i need to reset ECU in order for it read the new intake ? or would it read automatically by itself? and if yes how long? Please let me know, Thanks!

Lol what are you actually trying to accomplish with adding an intake that relates to your exhaust? Sound? Since you exhaust is louder than OEM, go higher rpms if you want to hear sound coming from the engine bay. You wont hear anything unless youre at higher rpms.
Magnaflow exhausts is quiet compared to other aftermarket exhausts in the market. If you were actually aiming for loud whenever, a res delete or muffler delete.
The intake is already doing its job right after you installed it.

Yes you can pull the battery wire to make the ecu relearn.
Years back one of my friend install an intake on his car. The intake sound was loud until he installed an exhaust then you barely heard the intake. I'm thinking it's because it's changes the flow or resonance.

But they've been in the industry for 25+years
However, they are an entry level company. They also make the Eurolite bulbs and neon lighting, Toucan pedal/knob accessories, etc.
That being said - an intake is an intake. It's the filter that is essential.

I did a muffler delete on my 12 skyactiv, not super loud but it's exactly what I was looking for.
