Just update your netflix app onyour phone and there will be a download button beside the movies and shows you can download. Not all of them are available to download, but there's a lot that is.

Are you sure you'll be able to watch them? I don't have Netflix anymore so I can't try it out, but I'm assuming you'll have to access the offline content through the app so it'll still have regional restrictions. It'd be on par with their modus operandi.

Haha Rogers, what a bunch of losers. So glad Shomi crashed and burned.

Yeah they increased the monthly subscription price, but also stepped it up by increasing level of service with more/recent titles and now this.
Good job Netflix, wish other companies would take note.

We updated to the 4 screens and ultra hd for $12. We only need two simultaneously at most so we're splitting with my parents for their two tv's. Made them profiles and now for $6 we're getting ultra HD content

a few hundred megabytes. It's not 1080p, based on my eyes. I think streaming does look better.

Guesstimating 540p~sh or lower with a two channel audio then.

Got this too in the mail. Also ordered Roku stick from Amazon prime. Hope it's better than my Apple TV.

Cool addition. Hopefully the resolution is bumped up with option for larger files in later updates.

I have been using it a bit and there are no issues.
Django was around 600MB, resolution was really good (around 720p?), no issues experienced with playback, the app opens ofline to show just your downloaded movies.
After finishing it, I selected and deleted from my phone.
I just hope it becomes more widely available to newer stuff as well. So far it looks to be rolled out on older/smaller movies.

guess when we're back to using our own car, we'll only use this for travel within the same country or i'll continue to torrent and load videos onto his tablet. luckily my test vehicle has onstar wifi. i'll be burning that a lot faster now
