In the last few days, I've noticed that my GPS navigation has been acting up. It seems to happen more frequently when driving on highways but happens sometimes on regular streets as well. The GPS will think that I am about 100-200 metres to the left or right of where I actually am, which seriously screws up the routing. I've been driving through buildings, lakes, and had a lot of fun exploring every single on and off ramp on the 401 according to that thing! Anyone else have this issue? I'm taking it in next week to the dealer for its 12 month service appointment anyway, so I'll get them to investigate this issue.

Oh, I tried rebooting the infotainment system. No change.

Could need a firmware update but I'm wondering if it could be an issue with the gps sensor. Either way, warranty :)

If there's a way to bring up a display of how many satellites the GPS is seeing (I don't recall if there is), that may provide a clue. I'm wondering if maybe the GPS antenna connection came loose, so the GPS isn't seeing enough satellites to get a decent fix. Hopefully the dealer will figure it out and fix it under warranty.

Update the Mazda Connect software... there were bugs in earlier versions and is a known issue
Also update your SD card

Sounds like I had the same problem earlier. I was showing no or very weak gps signals from the nav information screen. Turns out it was the gps connector coming loose. That problem was resolved in summer of 2016 with the dealership. It is now January 2017 and the same problem has come back. I wonder if the connector has come out again and why?
