Pet Friendly Stores..far and few in the GTA?

I was recently in MEC with my dog and was told (politely) that dogs are not allowed unless its was a service dog. The guy said I could leash my dog outside (not ever going to happen) and come back in and finish my shopping. Didn't see the small "no pets allowed sticker" on the way in.
So with that in mind, I was wondering if anyone has shopped in any stores ( other than pet stores ) which pets are allowed?

Bass Pro Shops are all pet friendly. That's about all I know

Currys art supplies on Queen West welcomes dogs. Most employees will come over and say hi when a dog comes in.
