Hey all,

So I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to redo my suspension. I'm looking to spend time modeling the stock suspension I'm going to put back in.

I've been reading about suspension modeling and then calculating resonant frequencies of front and rear load to set the proper spring resistance on your coilovers. Taking all proper measurements, weight of corners, etc and modeling that in software.

There seems to be two main apps, WinGeo 3 and Dynatune XL.

The developer of WinGeo died in 2014 so software no longer being sold or developed.

The latest seems to be Dynatune XL, an MS Excel based application.

My intention is to set things for occasional autocross and infrequent track days. Also need a to be street able, but think proper tuning will result in a perfectly street able suspension though.

Has anyone gone through this process and have any tips?

Does anyone know places on the west side of Toronto (Brampton/Mississauga area) who have corner scales? I need to measure the 4 posts of my car.

Thanks!
Leif.

I know an East side guy who does corner balancing, but not a West end one.

Thanks Geoff,

Who would that be? I'm moving to Alliston in June so east side stuff will end up being easier anyways.

I'm back to stock, need to get some maintenance things done, then moving. Probably won't get a chance to profile until June/July anyways :(

have you taken the car to the track or just autocross?

My opinion is that the speed3 will never handle well enough to make any of this stuff worth it.

If it's just something you're interested in doing then I'm all for that

More a morbid curiosity. I'm a nerd and this stuff appeals to me :)

Call Chris at Burning Rubber Tire and Speed in Oakville for all your suspension/track/autocross questions. He also has scales.
