I'm tempted to register. We have my new 3 and this sounds like fun, but I think it will really make me want to ditch the wife's car for the cx-5.

Has anyone been to one of these before? Can they confirm if it's on a closed track like setting setup in a parking lot or something - or is it just like a guided test drive on the nearby streets not much different than you'd get at a dealer?

Its a closed circuit in the parking lot at the Woodbine center. Usually have multiple setups to test different cars

Yes, this describes it well. You have an instructor/guide beside you.

Ive been to the Mazda 3 ride and drive back when the 3rd gen first came out. Loads of fun. I was slightly tempted to do this too but I have other plans that day.... Bummer because I am actually trying to get my parents into the new CX-5.

OK great thanks guys. I'll be there Sunday am with a buddy. Likely would've skipped if it was a normal test drive type of thing but this looks like fun and looking forward to it.
