Hey What\'s Up?

I\'m new to the site, and I\'m thinking of getting a new 05 GS. Well... I want the GT, but, I can\'t spend all my money, so going to probably get a GS. My question to everyone is which GS do you perfer?

Sedan GS in Carbon Grey Mica, with; 4sp at, power and sport packages

or

Sport GS in Sunset Orange Mica or Winning Blue Mica, with; the 4sp at

Those are the cars that I\'m looking at, just too hard to really make a decision. Anyways, I\'m thinking of getting at either Gyro, Avante (Toronto), or Scarbo. What does anyone know about these dealers as well would be very nice.

Thanks,
jalal stephen haddad:p

Since I own a GS Sedan I am biased towards them. You will be the first to get a Carbon Grey on this board.

It would depend on your needs. Obviously the hatch has more cargo room but it is more expensive. I like the sedans looks better than the hatch. Something about the rear of the hatch doesn\'t look right.

But Sedan GS < expensive than Sport GS.

As for dealers look in the Reviews of dealers section.

The Sport GS has the 2.3l, whereas the Sedan GS does not. I think the non-GFX sedan GT would be a better comparison.

Just make sure you don\'t get Titanium Grey. We have too many of them here already! :p

NO WAY... No GS model has the 2.3 engine... Sport package just gives you 16\" rims, and sunroof....

I have a Titanium Grey GS with Power Package, Auto and Air and it came out to 20495 + taxes...

Features on GS: PRICE: 17795
GX Trim Features Plus
• 15\'Alloy wheels
• Rain sensing front wipers
• Driver\'s seat lumbar support
• Keyless remote entry
• Body coloured side protector
• Map lamp
• Auto light control
• Power door locks
• AM/FM-CD player
• Body coloured door handles
• Glove box lock

The Sport (as in the hatch version) GS does come with the 2.3L engine.

As for the original poster\'s question, depends what you\'re going to use it for. If you\'re hauling stuff and want a bit more power, go for the sport. Otherwise go for the sedan. Take both for a test drive, see which you prefer- thats the only way to know for sure.

As for dealers, I got mine at Scarboro (only picked it up 3 weeks ago). I was very pleased with the whole transaction and would highly recommend them.

All hatches (Mazda3 Sport) have the 2.3

Any yet another good reason to get the hatchback/Sport. :)

I\'d go with the Sport GS but try and get the Indigo Blue one. It\'s a new color for 05 and you\'ll be the first on this board to have one in that model. Plus you get the 2.3 instead of the 2.0 motor. The Sedan GT has the 2.3 motor and more standard features.

May I recommend Avante of Toronto. :p
