Hello, So i bought the car used at 70km with MAP valid until october 2017 or 40km whichever comes first , now the car is at 118km. My passenger side motor mount is damaged and rubber is leaking. Would the dealer cover it ? I just need to know because I went to Mazda of Brampton today and told them about the problem and they said the passenger side motor mount is not covered under MAP because it only covers major components for used vehicle.. the car is 2011 mazda 3 2.0. GS sedan, any thoughts? thanks...

I'm not sure, correct me if I'm wrong. But by my calculation, 118km has already passed 110km, so your MAP wouldn't be valid anyways

I would argue it's a major component of the engine and should be covered. Ask them if it's not a major issue if the engine which is part of the drivetrain falls out.

When you first noticed the problem is not relevant, it's when you take it in. If you are 3,000 km past the warranty coverage then you are no longer covered. You need to take it in before you pass the mileage limit.

Full MAP coverage covers motor mounts.

Maybe you only have extended powertrain warranty which only covers major engine and transmission components. In that case motor mounts are not covered.

Shoot me the VIN and I can double check to see what you have and when it expires.
