Hi,

My name is Alex and I am very close to purchasing a used 2014 Mazda 3 2.0 GS.

I am a former Honda Fit owner (2007 Sport, got up to 410,000 km with no issues until this week...clutch gone).

Quick question, I have always liked the Mazda 3's, but are they reliable? I heard some 2014's were made in Mexico.

Thanks for any input. I couldn't find a reliability area on the site.

Read up on the different models and packages.
I think the 2014 GTs are made in Japan. You should check the packages too because sometimes they sell the used GTs and GSs and GXs at around the same price. GTs have the bigger engine. Anyway read up on it and I am sure others have recommendations.

Hi Alex,

Welcome! As Jackal said, GTs are made in Japan and everything else is from Mexico. I can confirm as i have a GS and it's from Mexico.

Pro of owning GS Made in Mexico: Cheaper OEM parts vs Japan made.
