Hello TM3,

I'm going to be taking the time to fix some rock chips. I have purchased Dr. Colourchip, but need to clean the exterior really well first.

Question 1) How do I get rid of rust inside rock chips?
I have some 2 spots on the roof, and my others on the hood as pictured below.

Roof - How do I get the rust off? Its a bit bumpy. Any way to spray something that will "dissolve" the rust out? Sandpaper?

Question 2) Any recommendations (shops) to fix this door dent? Approx cost? Prob wait to next spring.
Here's the story: Took my car to service at the dealership. I go out to my car to leave, see a giant door ding with white paint. Go back to service desk and service advisor comes out to inspect. Then goes back in and the manager, mechanic, detailer, and advisor all come out to see.

No one saw who did it, but mechanic suspected some lady as she was parked in the lot for an extended time. Manager takes my car in for the detailer to work on and shows me the lady's car. No blue paint on her doors. Asked about the cameras, said they don't record until alarm is armed. Didn't offer me anything except that if I ever wanted to get some other body work done, they would help out with the door ding at a "very good rate". Basically, manager's response was "crap happens, its a parking lot, nothing else he can do."

For my next service, I'm not even sure if I will go back for next service. I've moved (it is no longer that closest dealership) and still go back.

Door - are the different water spots because the detailer buffed out the wax or the clear coat?
Question 3) How to fix this?
I'm guessing after I wash my car and wax it, it might solve it.

I'm going to be using this process:
Wash, rinse, sonax fallout cleaner, rinse, dry, claybar, dry, dr. colourchip, let paint dry, another quick wash or maybe just rinse, dry, wax.
Question 4) Is this order sufficient? Should it be a different order?

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
