short throw shifter

Hey guys and girls long time no speak . I have been very busy at work long long
hours. My question ? Does anybody know how to take off the plastic cover that surrounds the shifter boot and shifter. I am making a new and short throw shifter.
it should be ready by feb or march along with the strut tower brace.

hmmm going from memory:

- Open the Ceter console/armrest
- Pull the plastic lip up, and keep going to the front.
- Unscrew the shifter knob

*NOTE - There may be 2 screws up by the ashtray/cubby hole.

Yah, lift up the lid to that storage bin.

Pull from the back to take out the piece that surround the handbrake and cup holders.

Unscrew the shift knob

Pull out that plastic surround.

All plastic and all connected with clips.
