now, it could be just me, but those who have winter tires on...whats your take on your feeling towards your car lately? I mean...i only have had winters on for about a week now, but whenever i look at teh car now, its pure ghetto. How are yer feelings towards yer car since you got the winters on? maybe i\'m just bein\' a geek!

My Michelin Alpines are on some black steelies and I miss my 17\'s. But what the hell I\'ll sport the steelies since it only for 4 months. Hey I\'ve never been to a meet yet but If you guys go snowboarding I\'m in for sure.
after putting on the winter tires on silver steelies on my m3, the centre part is rusted (part of the main car, not the rims)...looks ugly. so rite now i got rusty mid on all 4 of the rim\'s centre. make sense? do u guys have this rust problem? when i had the stock 17\', the mazda rims covered that part so i didn\'t notice it until i changed the winter tires.

When I pulled off the OEM 17\" wheels, there was already a tiny bit of rust on the hubs, and the car wasn\'t even 3 weeks old.
I miss the stock 17\" wheels.. they really do look sweet. In the meantime I have the 16\" Highlander silver steelies. I think it looks better than the black steelies, but at the same time with the black ones its obvious that they aren\'t stock. For people who aren\'t good with cars sometimes they ask what the stories is with the silver wheels looking weird (no center cap). Meh :sarc

I put my winter tires on the stock 15\" rims so it looks pretty run of the mill. Sort of like I\'m rolling on black doughnuts. :D

I don\'t really care if my winters are on black steelies. My car gets so dirty so fast, I\'m not really showing off during the winter anyways.
It\'s all personal opinion. I\'ll state my opinion; black steelies NICE, silver RAV4/Highlander steelies FUGLY.
Again, that\'s MY opinion thus I stuck with getting black steelies.
My center wheel hubs are rusty as well; normal.
As with the tires themselves, the drive is GOOD (Kumho KW17\'s). It finally snowed again in my area yesterday (Saturday 11th) and I pulled into some small residential streets to test out my Kumho\'s again. Took the corners quick and kept my foot on the gas... felt the car sliding but at the same time I was able to keep the car under control. VERY nice.

i kept my stock rims as my winter rims seeing as though next summer ill be purchasing a pair of rims...Now if only i could find a nice gunmetal pair that i liked. Your right though, black on black is sexy. theres nothing like looking at a nice clean black car with dark rims. ANy suggestions on rims. i was thinking centerline RPM\'s or OZ Supperlegerras. but then again theres so many to look at, and i have 6 months to find a pair i like.
