Cabin air filter and hvac service

Ok so I have a 2015 mz3 and everytime I go to the dealership they keep tellin me that I need to do this HVAC service. I changed my cabin air filter with the one from Canadian tire.

Is this service really necessary? My mz3 has 60k km. Please advise.

You would need zero HVAC service, unless your having an issue with it....period. Suggestion; Stop taking it to the dealer unless its for warranty work.
