The return of the RX7..

simply stated....i believe in year 2007-ish or so, the Mazda Rx7 is making its return....twin turbo, 339HP if my memory serves me correct. Sources go to Keiswetter Mazda in kitchener, feel free to correct me if i am wrong...

I like, I hope they put it into production. To me the RX-8 is too long (and underpowered) to be a true sports car (a la 350Z).

There has been talk of the new RX-7 for some time now... Alot of photoshop pics going around..
We got news at Sevenstock... They\'re gonna try to make it a more modern version of the FD.. The underpinnings will still be based on the RX-8 (which is an evolution of the FD\'s underpinnings)..

There has been test mules spotted in and around Mazda\'s proving grounds... But nothing definitive...

I hope it doesn\'t look too much like those pics Flipspeed posted... Unfortunately todays and tomorrows future safety shit impedes on the original philosphy of the car. Light weight with alot of power... I think the new car will weigh roughly the same as the RX-8... :(

Regardless, until somebody posts the real pic of the car, or even the test mule, all pics posted are speculations...
