View Full Version : Help me select a new car

So as some of you know, my poor 2015 Mazda 3 GT met it's match when it slammed into an improper left turning vehicle at an intersection. So now comes the time to select a new car ...and I'm thinking of perhaps selecting something other than a Mazda 3 (sorry ).

Up for consideration is the following:

1. 2018 Acura TLX Elite A-spec 3.5L V6
2. 2016 - 2018 Lexus IS300 or 350 V6 F-sport

Let me know your thoughts 

Nice. Going with a bigger engine V6! Lexus 350 would be nice.

2018 Acura in white looks great. My coworker loves their 15 Lexus IS350. both great cars. the Lexus might retain value a bit better?

For a few thousand more, you can get an Infinity Q50 Red Sport ( 400-hp 3.0-Litre Twin-Turbo V6 ; AWD) or the Q50 3.0t LUXE (300-hp 3.0-Litre Twin-Turbo V6 ; AWD) at roughly the same price as the Acura

I'm no longer allowed to have a white car ... I think it's my cursed color ...I've totalled three white cars in 18 years (none of them my fault!!!) :P

I think the IS300 is more affordable to me atm ...

I went to test drive it today, love it :D :D ... probably a 2017 IS300 F-Sport 2 package in blue with black pleather (I can't believe they don't have real leather seating!!!)

Looked at the Q50 today, I like it, but it's a little big ... looks more like a car I should be driven in rather than driving.
