Clunking noise when applying the brakes

I have recently noticed a clunking noise when applying my brakes at a low speeds. It is comming from my rear brakes, mostly the right side. It does not happen all the time. It will do it both going forward and reverse. Any ideas what it could be?

I had this problem and it was related to my my rear rotors, Techs at Morningside Mazda had machined the rear rotors and they were uneven. They eventually replaced the rear rotors and the clunking sounds stopped.

Mine were never machined though. But they did adjust the brackets. I guess I will be paying a visit to Avante Mazda tomorrow.
