iPod

Does anyone have an iPod hooked up to their Mazda3? I bought an iPod back in September, have been trying everything i can think of, from buying new firewire cards, to downloading Anapod and it still doesn\'t work in Windows. But it works on my friends Mac no problem. Problem is, Windows recognizes it as a removable hard-drive not an iPod and iTunes it doesn\'t bring up the iPod as the Mac does. Anyone how to get around this problem?

Huh, if your friend\'s Mac recognizes the iPod but your Windows machine doesn\'t, that can only mean that you have a Mac formatted iPod. You may have to format your iPod to a file system that Windows can recognize.

Are you talking about the new Anapod Reinitializer?

Yeah I\'m talking about the new Anapod Reinitializer.... Doesn\'t seem to work. I\'ve formatted my iPod because as you which from Mac\'s to Windows, you have to format the iPod but it doesn\'t seem to work. I\'ve bought this new Firewire Card from Belkin, downloaded the drivers, doesnt work either. I\'ve also tried using my iPod on my old P2 system thinking maybe I\'d have to format my Computer but it doesn\'t work on my old P2, gives me the same stuff that it can\'t recognize the iPod but only as a Removable Hard-Drive.

Yeah, I guess I\'m gonna have to format my computer and try if it works. Ahh the pains of not having a Mac.
