finally found a place to upload pix hence all these posts now..
have a look here at my car. the side markers came from e-bay (as per link in my sig) and the tints were done at fx auto (30% all around comfort film) along with the clear bra as described here (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/read.php?TID=16&page=5#14786)
side markers had some 3m tape on them and they were easy to apply and stick pretty well thus far. i figured they\'d compliment the 2.3 badges well andthey do IMO. I got them from hk-plus on ebay (http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZhkQ2dplus)

Haha, since I got the steelies I have allowed my car to go through washes with rails again... although it\'s still touchless...
My favourite wash still remains the railless and touchless wash near my house.

do u use anything special to clean the area before u stick it on ? it doesnt require any precise fitting does it? it seems it fits snuggly around the light so just stuff it over the light n thats it? if you have any installation tips pls share....coz something simple to u could be totally alien to me LOL
THANKS!!!!!!

It\'s like putting on a band aid. There\'s 3M automotive trim tape on the back of the rings. The JDM rings come with a black surround that goes around the light before you install the rings, but I left those off because it was a PITA to remove the light (according to the instructions, which were in Japanese BTW). I don\'t know if the rings that Majic bought came with that same surround, but even if you don\'t use it, you\'ll hardly miss it unless you get up real close to your car.

The black surround just keeps the body colour from showing through from in between the ring and the sidemarker, there\'s a 1mm gap between the two. I left it off but it\'s hardly noticeable even when you are standing next to the car.
Those are the knock-off trim rings, but look just like the OE JDM rings at a much lower price.
The thicker side should towards the rear of the car, but to each their own.

even though they are \'knock-offs\' i don\'t think you\'ll be able to tell the difference b/w them and JDM.. your wallet will feel about 70bux lighter (20 vs 90) IIRC
FYI.. Candyman is trying to arrange a GB for the \'knock-offs\'..
