Finally! After abandoning the idea for the 2004 model year, Mazda has finally released an official accessory brochure for the Mazda3.

It\'s odd that they make a distinction between a sunroof deflector for the sedan and for the hatch, same goes with the fuel filler door. I though that they would be universal, at least the deflector.

Isn\'t this almost the same as what they had at the back of the 04 brochures?

Almost the same yes... but this brocure includes things like colours interior trim for the door switches, steering wheel, handbrake etc. It\'s just more complete than the information on the back of the brochure.

I\'m not sure, but, is the rear quarter panel shaped/curved the same with the sedan and hatch?
maybe that\'s why the fuel filler doors are different.

I don\'t know about the deflector. maybe the slope of the roof is different? shouldn\'t be a problem though

My mistake, there are two fuel filler doors, one for the sedan and one for the hatch. I just checked the 2004 Accessories Brochure. However, there was only one listing for the moonroof deflector in the old brochure.

My only question is that the AERO FLARES are listed for the HB. Shouldnt they fit the sedan too?

Nope, just like the rear diffuser, the front and rear aero flares are only for the hatch.

I know they are \'meant\' for the hb, but, I wonder if they still fit the sedan?

You can buy only rear aero flares for the sedan. The fuel door for the sedan is new for 05\' and the moonroof deflector\'s part numbers change into one number.

Now, are those rear fender flares or are they the rear bumper cap things?

They\'re only caps. :(
