Hey all,

I'm new to Mazda (was always a Ford guy and very familiar with Ford technical), so I could use some help in the spec department.

We're waiting on our 2021 Mazda 3 2.5T and I'm seriously considering upgrading the brakes, but I'm struggling with where to find aftermarket rotors with correct bolt pattern, etc.

Does anyone knoe where to sourse these? Any help is appreciated.

Also forgot: Is the 2017-2018azda 3 brake set-up the same as a 2019+? From everything I've seen it is, short of contacting my dealer to roll through part numbers, which really doesn't give a full picture.

Upgrading How ?

You want to go Big Brake Kit ? if so i would say go to Neo Motosport BBK F400 (min 17" rims)
On your OEM Rotor with Upgraded Brake pads you can go with Hawk 5.0 or EBC bluestuff.
If you want to upgrade rotor to drilled or slotted at DBC (Canadian) https://www.crossdrilledrotors.ca/
which you can run with oem pads or upgrades pads.

You should also think upgrading your brake fluid to good dot 4 , or better 5.1 (Im on Liqui Moly 5.1)
to take advantage of better pads and bigger rotors and or big brake kit.

Check out my fluid info post today i break down cost and fluid specs.

Thanks for the info!

I meant I'm considering a BBK upgrade, but I've been thinking of building my own using Brembo 18Z or 17Z calipers in the front, hence the reason I'm trying to find rotors in the 350-380mm range to work on the front and 330mm in the rear. I know other folks have purchased these rotors for the Mazda 3, but I'm not sure where (and I'm not receiving any response through DM).
