Strange noise coming after closing the drivers door

Today i noticed that when i closed the driver\'s door, there is some clicking sound( as if someone winding the watch fast ) coming from the engine bay( Not sure ). I tried starting and then turning it off and samething happened again.

That sound comes for a second or so( As if some relay or switch is misfiring ).

Only thing i did was i drove for 3-5 Km without seat belt.

Anyone has any ideas about it???

lol.. relax.. ppl usually sleep b/w midnight and 8am (or don\'t get to work till then)

My bad, i sounded little hasty there.

Everything else is running fine except this Noise coming everytime i close my driver\'s side door.

does this noise happen when engin/electrical stuff is on or off? just trying to narrow it down.. the more details you provide the better :p since this noise could be a lot of things.

does it happen right after you close the door? or when you\'re closing it? does it happen to other doors (maybe if nobody else gets in the car u never noticed it) is your dome light on \'door\' setting?

from your first description it looks like it\'s not when you close the door but when you START the engine (since you turned it off and on and it happened again)

This happens when i shut everything off( Lights/ignition) and close the driver\'s side door.

It only happens on the driver\'s side door. I closed other 3 doors but no noise.

Never Mind Guys. The problem seems to be gone as of today as i am not hearing that sound anymore while closing the Driver\'s door. I don;t know what the hell it was but glad it is gone.
