Ummm.. I hate to break it to you... but HIDs are supposed to be white
In case you didn\'t know, the majority of colour difference between the different K\'s is actually the colour of the light OUTSIDE OF THE BEAM. Your HIDs should look purplish from any other forward angle other than in the focused beam of light...in which they should look white. The beam colour difference between a 4500K system and a 6000K system should be minimal. Perhaps a bit more whitish, but not to the extent of being a totally different colour of the spectrum.
The only way you are going to get a purplish light (emphasis on -ish) is if you go with a 10000K - 12000K bulb. But if you do, light output will be about the same as stock, but the light will be purple.
What good is a purple light anyways? If the light was purple, you wouldn\'t see $#|+. because it would blend into the BLACK, DARK road. Unless you are doing it for looks, which defeats the purpose of HIDs in the first place.
I don\'t know about you, but I got HIDs to see better at night, not crash into stuff because my light is purple.
