Valentines Day Dilemas?

Pretty much an oldschool traditional man I think, I\'m pretty much am predictable. Christmas shopping can be done on Christmas Eve or the weekend before, choosing a card for any occasion can be done in 5 minutes, gift certificates are considered a cool gift. Canadian Tire and HOme Depot have something for everyone and Valentines Day shopping or planning can be made simple.., or so I think.

So...what are some simple cheap ideas you guys will be doing this year for your girl or guy*?
Chocolates, teddybear, dinner @ restaurant, pedicure/manicure spa treatment package. Who shops for Lingerie? I don\'t even go near those stores and I feel wierd in them. When I am forced to go into them I\'m usually checking out the hot sales reps.

question lol. im wondering on valentines day do u gota like, liek the person to do anything with them? if i do something with someone is it considered a sign that i like them? lol the reason i ask this is because i wanna do soemthing with someone lol, and yes i do like them. but i dont wanna make them feel uncomfortable or soemthing. i like doing stuff with her on like special occasions or days.

I used to be a very selective batter in the D.H. position. I suggest you don\'t go up to bat looking to get a homerun. Just do something simple like BUNT just to get on base and advance things abit. Once on first then you can think about stealing second.

I wish i would be \"Playing solitaire\" on V-day but i have a g/f so i\'m gonna have to drop a few dollars and make the reservations, etc etc etc... I just don\'t like the fact that there has to be special days to treat your g/f special.. Blackeyed Susan\'s Is a really nice flowerist.... They have a lot of variety..... But that\'s downtown Toronto ....... you can always go to Pac Mall, they have some really nice arrangements too

During our first Valentine\'s together, I was actually in Hawaii \'cause I was a groomsman in my
cousin\'s wedding.

I felt bad \'cause it was our first so I had a HUGE-MUNGOUS arrangement for roses,gerbras (her fav)
and a bunch of tropical flowers delivered to her at work.

Cost an arm and a leg but got *ead when I got back!! haha j/k :D

but yeah, it was worth it!

Just got back from the Dollar Store, Walmart and Shoppers. I\'m going back to the Ghetto Valentines Day Treat for a woman. Picked up a crap load of candies and a lovely Black Gorilla Teddy Bear. A bottle of her favorite cheap red wine, my silky professional tiger stripe bathrobe and undwear, matching du-rag, fresh white socks, mangoe chapstick, Brute 33, and my mahogany pimp cane. I\'ve dusted of my 8-track player and pulled out some old Isley Brothers, Al Greene, Marvin Gaye and James Brown.

Yup yup ;)..... I would recommend Black Eyed Susan\'s for a arrangement that\'s ahead of time.... they\'re pretty cool... When I used to buy presents for clients.... I used to get praised at how the lovely and exotic arrangements they used to have... they weren\'t a bnad price either... and they\'re always up for something new.... As for Pac Mall... they\'re good for arrangements too... and a pretty good price since you can bargain.

\"I Love You\" might be a little too forward for her, don\'t wanna scare her off.
Try something cute and simple that girls like. \"Be Mine\" or something like that.

And when you sign the card as \"Secret Admirer\" don\'t just put her name at the top,
and admirer at the bottom. Too plain, too grade school.

You gotta leave a short note or something, and leave hints or
clues so that she might think of you but not be sure it\'s you,
get her guessing, intrigued, that way she\'ll start paying more
attention to you and maybe clue in to how you feel about her.

well,

it happened. lol. it was so crazy, got like 3 friends to help me out: 1 runner, 1 driver(another car of course), 1 writer. it basically all went according to plan. though she didint get the hint on the picture it was from me, i basically sat down with her on her cold wet porch and talked to her and told her. the time came for me to leave and she gave me a hug.

lol i never been hugged before, not even from my parents or anything. my life is very blahhh. anyways im happy, first hug with the one i love =)

ps: roses are such rip-offs on valentines day.

Spike T.V. had a nice show on Picking-up women the other night like Sunday I think. We should dedicate a portion of our board or a thread to \'Baseball Relationship Tips\'. A few of us are Golden Glovers and Cy Young Award Winners.

I met someone special while I was on vacation in the Philippines. We spent every waking hour with eachother up until my flight home. The last couple of days I showered her with gifts thanks to the Valentines Day bug. Thanks to the great exchange rate, that wasn\'t too hard. Our dates would usually end up with myself picking her up from work and going off to have dinner and a movie and then a romantic walk or talk. I ended up seeing 6 movies with her (Electra, Blade 3, Alfie, Shall We Dance, A Very Long Engagement, Let the Love Begin). Suffice it to say we had the time of our lives, we learned from eachother, not just about one another, but about what we were each capable of. We were planning to participate in the 1 Million Kisses event, but suffice it to say we were busy. Leaving on the 13th was completely heart breaking after an incredible whirlwind romance. Now my dilemma, how do I continue this from the other side of the world?

From personal experience son, I\'ve had problems with people 2hrs away, down in the Caribbean and Australia. It\'s too hard on the heart and we as humans need someone in the here and now. But if you are one of the 5%; to secure her, you will have to go back soon propose to her or get married so you can get her over here.

Rule #1: Play for the Major League team you are with by living in its city.

I was at the Hyatt on Roxas Blvd, right at EDSA. She lived in Mandaluyong but worked in Ermita near Robinson Place.
