from the list of options the spec-v has everything.

175hp
brembo brakes
200 or 300 watt rockford fosgate system
slip differential

the ralliart has, well, nothing.
165hp
340 watt infiinty sound system
slip differntoial

anyways i wwas recently talking about these 2 cars with a friend. first of alll i would like to point out that i have no idea why im writing this. lol anyways yeah persoinaly spekaing i love teh styling of the 02\'s but thats just me.

anyways for some reason the ralliart does usually 157/155 (hp/lbs) to the wheels while the spec-v loses alot of power somewhere and only displaces 151/159. with everything aside, a comparison done here http://www.sportcompactcarweb.com/roadtests/0407scc_comparo/ basically declares teh spec-v a winner. the only thing im surprised about is, well 2 things,

1. the amazing loss of power . its supposed to do 175. while the ralliart for some reason does surprisingly well from the flywheel to the wheels.
2. those twin-piston brembo brakes dont have ABS?!?!??! and becuase of this it \"lost\" its brake comparison tests. very very shocking to me lol. like all cars bascially havbe abs, wtf is going on??!?!

anyways lol yes my friend has a ralliart and hoenstly speaking that car is pretty nice. interior is extremely boring, but i like the exterior. with styling aside, it performs very well. apparently this car is finely tuned like most bmw\'s off the lot. pretty crazy stuff.

anyways out of the 2 cars, what would u take? personally speaking i would take the spec-v but the old 02 versions cause they look so much nicer, exterior and interior. the new one\'s interior is so god damn boring. lol anyweays good day im bored and im tired. again why did i write this? cause i wasted an entire night going through that site. i like the writer he makes me laugh.


If the Spec V is a scalpel, the Lancer Ralliart is a garden hoe. On the road the difference is that dramatic

The good thing about both of those cars is that they have a lot of parts available to improve performance. Nismo and Ralliart have a ton of goodies. I\'d rather get an EVO if they were available.

Before the 3 came out the 02 and 03 Spec V is the car I wanted. Love the front end, the interrior is decent, the speed is impressive for a stock car (6 speed helps). But the ass end of that car is so ugly I couldnt buy it, what a bubble butt.

I\'ms sorry, but for some reason I won\'t really consider buying any lancer other than the evo.

Any other lancer is jsut crap. I test drove the Ralliart as one of the cars I was considering before I bought my 3.

Handling was terrible (largly due to the skinny 14\" wheels), the engine was far from lively and the brakes seemed underpowered and spongy.

^ Not that I especially like Mitsubishi, but the Ralliart has 16\" wheels (not 14!), and an engine that makes more power and torque, both at lower RPMs than the 3. Are you sure you drove the Ralliart and not the base?

wtf? lol 14\" rims? lol that cant be the ralliart =) but hmm, if i could choose another car right now... =p

Maybe it wasn\'t the Ralliart one...

What\'s the step below it? before they redesigned the front... I remember it had 14\" OZ rally rims. and about 120 hp I think.

The Lancer ES and OZ-Rally trims have 120 hp and 14\" and 15\" wheels, respectively. The Ralliart has 162hp and 16\" wheels and is more powerful than the 3.
