View Full Version : I need a new job!!!

I got promoted twice within the last 2 years, but I still have yet to see an increase in my pay!!!
Managers keep telling me I am doing a good job, but it\\\'s just that the company is not giving any increases :sarc
All because of bad timing, the people who got hired within the last few months are making way more money than me. All because they get paid based on the new rate, which unfortunately, does not apply to us who have been loyal to the company for a few years now. And to make things worse... I have to train those newcomers, knowing that my Overtime pay rate (1.5X) is just their regular pay!
Sorry guys... just venting....
But yah, I need a new job. Anybody know of any company hiring technical analysts, desktop support or helpdesk technicians?

OH man that sucks ... i sort of have the same prob. .. i didn\'t get promoted i just keep getting new responsibilities ..<< i think i spelled that wrong oh well:p .... man complain if enough of you guys there let them know u feel like u guys are being mistreated then they are pretty much forced to do something about it ..
And when push comes to shuff .. leave .. they will have to hire a new one a the rate ne ways and they will have to train them .. mean time all they have to do is just give u a raise ... u have to force the hand man ...be firm ..

midnightfxgt, sent u a PM. Thx.
kl7402001, we already complained to our manager, our manager\'s manager, and our director. We also contacted HR. No results. They are all basically saying that their hands are tied. That\'s the problem when u work for a really big global company such as the one I work for.
Indusbreed, no Novell. Sorry. Just Unix and Windows. And very little exposure to AS/400, OS/390, and Tandem. Thanks though.
MAZDA3_MIKE, yup thought about quitting and coming back. That\'s why I\'m also looking for contract positions.
EDITED: Removed company name :D

There is a Roxio office directly opposite mine on West Beaver Creek. Do you work there?

The one and only! :)
Hey, I was going to apply to an opening at Roxio a little while back for Product Support. My current company deals with the same crap.
