Hey ladies/gents, do any of you have some recommendations as to which leather conditioners work best? There are too many to choose from at canadian tire, so i\'d like to know what you guys have tried. Thanks

I tried Megulars\' Leather Wipes but I didn\'t like them too much. They left a glossy finish but i prefer the Matte. Wipes are good cuz you always get an even application and won\'t miss spots too much.

Anyone know of leather wipes that would leave that matte finish?

Thanks

Nobody has owned a car with Leather seats before?

PS.. Thanks MrJWU, but i agree with you, I would prefer the matte finish

I have leather seats, and picked up some Meguiar\'s leather cleaner/conditioner at the auto show. Haven\'t had a chance to use it yet though.. Likely this weekend, well let you know.

I have the Meguiars spray on leather cleaner and conditioner. Initially it does leave a shine on the leather, but it quickly fades. I like it a lot. Of course I completely forgot all about the leather cleaner and conditioning cream that the dealership gave me when I picked up my car. :sarc

I use the meiguars wipes as well, they work really well but do leave a glossy finish although after 1 week the seats are somewhat back to normal.

they worked pretty well too and very easy to use...

just an update.

I tried what you guys recommended, the Meguiars spray on leather cleaner and conditioner. It looks nice, feels nice and cleans well, but i didn\'t like it being in a spray botle. As careful as i was, I had a little overspray on the rear door panel but didn\'t notice them until today. It was a Bi**ch to remove.

I tried my frineds, Simoniz® Leather Cleaner/Conditioner (http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortments/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=84552444188 9967&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517494&FOLDE R%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517515&FOLDER%3C%3Ebro wsePath=1408474396670116&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=140 8474396670116&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474396670 271&bmUID=1110656542347) and it worked really well... It\'s in a creme form, so there will be no overspray.

Generally speaking they both work really well, but I like the application control you get with the creme vs the spray.

I use lexol for a leather condition. For cleaner, I\'ve read woolite and water (1:6) is highly recommended by Autopia.org.
