View Full Version : Niagara Cruise 2005?

As Per the TAC club did last year, im thinkign it may be a good idea to do this summer! Aparantly on sunday nights in the summer its a big car enthusiast night down in niagara on Lundy\'s Lane!
If participants willing...ill be more than happy to organize this, im waiting on more pictures from mazda_3_mike this year from teh sunday night thing in niagara to grab more attention. I know i will be going down myself a couple weekends in the better weather!

how about easter sunday? that would be a good day

i wanna be lead car, actually 2nd car ...i can always push em mentally :D ...sum ppl are just too slow:p

this is goign to be set for more summertime..june/ish, i jus wanted to get some consensis...i posted this all over teh M3F baord, kidna liek TM3 and M3F Finally unite!

maybe you guys are, but im not....im awaiting for pics from mazda_3_mike....he sais the action down on lundy\'s lane kicks off after the may 24 weekend till labour day!

be careful driving in a huge convoy...you don\'t want what happened to a bunch of WRX drivers happen to a group of mazda3\'s

i still remember what happened to a whole group of vw drivers commin back from waterfest...lol one of em recorded all of the \"ilegal\" activites :sarc

i can\'t find the link right now, so i\'m going off of memory.

this happened fall of 2003 or spring 2004. a bunch of wrx drivers were going to a motorsports event to participate in. they were going the speed limit and were behind a honda insight. the insight was travelling at 80km/h on a 100km/h road, so the wrx drivers decided to pass it when it was safe to do so. some driver called the OPP and reported that some \"modified racers\" were weaving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed. so the OPP pulled over all of them up the highway and kept them there for several hours (i think 4 or 5 was the number) while they called for \"back-up\". the wrxs were inspected, the OPP took down all their insurance info and reported their cars to the driver\'s insurance companies.

all the while, they explained what had happened, etc. i can\'t remember the outcome, but they were going to take the OPP to court and such.

Id definately be game for a niagara cruise. Bubba hopefully itll be in the warm weather so i can finally get my car all cleaned, polished and waxed..

Must have been someone who could not get a WRX for whatever reason and was Peed off to the max.

I\'m pretty sure people won\'t be plicks and do that to us... especially our car looking a lot more tame than the aggressiveness behind even a stock WRX.

I\'m game for a Niagara Cruise. Just don\'t ask me to jump the falls in my 3. :D

sweeet, finally some people are in for this idea. It\'ll be fun to invade niagara. It can be a full day or evening thing. Won\'t be for a couple more months tho, till i get some pics from mazda_3_mike and i will be going down myself prior to grab some pics and to see if its realli worth it.

SO...lets just wait out a few months...i can\'t wait for summer!

We\'d definitely need sweet spots for photos! ie. nearby the falls, outside the casino main entrance, etc.
