hmm,

ok i think i have a problem and im trying it figure out if its me or just the car. so basically i filled up on gas like last sunday or something, like literaly full the needle goes beyond what its supposed to. anyways today i see my cars odo causeive been keeping track and it reards 335km, with the last 5 sticks away from empty, so basicaly ona full tank im guessing i only get about 350km?

isnt it supposed to do alot more then that? for the past couple of months ive been doing alot of highway driving as i go down to toronto from markham to visit an old friend constantly. in fact the way it owuld be spit up for me is like 80-85 highway/20-15 city. should i bring my car into the dealership and get it checked out? or is it just me? haha i guess my usual speed on the highway ranges from 120-140ish? and i dunno what else ot say,

TIA

Ensure your tires are properly inflated. The faster you drive (120-140) may also contribute to your high fuel mileage.

there\'s an ENTIRE thread dedicated to ppl\'s fuel economy right here (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/read.php?TID=1395).. it might not be in the right place but nobody moved it so yah..

is this the first time you got bad mileage? have you used a different gas station this time? different octane? tire pressure as civiclad mentioned? more ppl in the car? maybe you\'ve been driving in 3rd gear the whole time? idling a lot? a TONNE of factors...

well,
heres an update, the light went on at 400km. my tires are always at 30-32, winters on right now, always use esso(cause of points), some rare times petro(cause my friends save 2 cents per liter mastercard), and always aty regular which is like 87 or soemthing octane. usually like atleast 2-3 people in my car including me, no idling for me, always moving or off =p. oh well i guess ill just ask people.

people are supposed ot be getting 500+ km, =/ grrr oh well
