I flip flop on the spoiler issue. At certain times I like the clean look of the stock trunk but then I see a sedan with the raised spoiler and I think it looks great. If it was free I\'d go for it but since I\'d have to pay for one, I like the stock look. ;)

I like the spoiler.

I also like it, I think it compliments the car.
I only like the lip spoiler.
The wing spoiler exaggerates the effect of the already short rear deck. Makes it looks even shorter.

I like the spoiler. I pondered this for a while before i bought my Gt/GFX sedan, and ended up going witht he spoiler and am pleased that I did.

-i have a raised spoiler on my gtgfx, the way i see it, it was made part of the rear end of the car, makes it more sporty.....u will see most of the M3s gtgfx are with it....otherwise if u dnt have it, ur gtgfx will look lyk a GS/GX model from behind....

No question - the spoiler finishes off the car nicely. No spoiler = bland.
Even my 50 year old Aunt says the car looked much better with the spoiler than without.
AF, remember, don\'t buy it from the stealership!

I agree with Whos UR Dadd, when I walked into the dealership the 3\'s with the spoiler looked sportier then the ones without. That\'s why I got one. I negotiated the spoiler into my price.:p :D

Seriously, it\'s a b!tch trying to open/close the trunk without something to grab onto. The spoiler is a big help. You hatch owners shaddup if you haven\'t tried opening a sedan trunk sans spoiler - it\'s a royal PITA!

you could have saves yourself some trouble and bought a hatch instead of a spoiler :) :p

thanks for such a nice reply from everyone~~
I don\'t know..
I\'m sooooo indecisive...
It\'s my first car and I want it to be perfect!!!
So... does anyone here that have a lip spoiler on their sedan that is coming out to the next meet??
oddly enough, I haven\'t seen any cars with them on the road.. juss the raised spoilers..

Sorry... ~~~
I know this is totally unrelated... but!~~ I\'ve been looking at some of the pics from meet #8 and I saw that some of the cars don\'t have their licence plates in the designated spots but yet they have it where that mesh is.. if i want to attach my front licence plate there, I do have to make sure that I ask the dealership not to drill holes there????

That last pic *shudders* I\'d like to see that guys face when he rolls up to a speed bump or a driveway with any kind of incline. And the snowplow issues! I won\'t even go there.... After seeing the pics of the lip spoilers I have come to the conclusion that I like the raised spoiler even more now. :p

AFBunnie, like Matrix said you can negotiate it into your price. Good luck, here is what is looks like in Silver.

Thanks~
I\'m still not sure... I actually ordered the car already so I can\'t work it into the price but hopefully, I\'ll get a spoiler( one or the other...) very shortly~

HAHA That is exactly what I was thinking looking at all those pics :p The one thing I disliked about the lip spoiler and I couldn\'t get past it was the gap that is leaves on either side of it. If it went flush with the trunk I might of gone that way. I also still kinda dont like how it wraps around that 3rd brake light. Mind you I would like to make that light disappear too :p :D

Mazda3boss, you have good taste, with tints and a stubby atennae these compliment the raised spoiler!!

I\'d choose the OEM lip spoiler over the OEM raised one. The OEM raised one looks too tall for Mazda3. For a raised one, I think this one (http://mazda3forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=14069) looks better :)
