20% Tint will get ticket from police??

I really wanna go for 20% tint..... but I scare police will give me a ticket..... just wonder police can give you a ticket becuase the tint???? thanks all =)

As long as you don\'t drive like an *******, I don\'t think they\'ll specifically target you for 20% tint. If you get pulled over or hit a RIDE stop, make sure you have your windows rolled down when you get to the cop and they\'ll have nothing to complain about... :)

Freshjive, when I went to FX Auto, they told me the best transition is 30% in the front and 20% in the back. I like it :p They are great there too, answer any questoins you have.:D

here\'s what 30% all around looks like (http://torontomazda3.com/forum/read.php?TID=1356) a GREAT experience at FX AUTO.. highly recommended

technically, you can get a ticket for any % tint in the front that obstructs a cop\'s clear view of the driver. the HTA on window coverings does not define a %age for the front window tint. so, you can be ticketed for 35% or even 30% tint.

go for 20% all-around if that\'s what you really want to do. don\'t second guess and compromise by going lighter.

if you do end up getting 20% all-around, don\'t give a cop a reason to pull you over.

look two posts up from your ^^^ post.. they have 30% .. IIRC it\'s a comfort tint not metallic..

generally at ous shop we wont tint anything darker then 20% on the front two windows with the customer signing a waver. i have 20% all aroubnd on my car have been like that on all my cars. I have never had a problem wiht the police but then again I drive safetly. 20% looks very clean!

Hey freshjive i have 20% and they look amazing...ive had them since December and no problems....my buddy also has 20% and he hasnt had any problems either...go for it it looks amazing

yeah 20% looks SEXY!!!!! but I scare its too dark inside..... coz my MOM <--- SUNDAY DRIVER..... she will drive my car on Sunday.... I scare she can\'t see anything.....
